Missions: Get Involved!

There has never been a more exciting time in history for mission ministry. We need more than ever to reach across the street and around the world to demonstrate Christ's love to a lost and hurting world. At GCBC we are involved in a variety of missions. Everyone's help is needed--there's a place for you! Come and join us.

Missions: Get Involved!

The ladies meet the first Tuesday of each month at noon for lunch and mission study unless the meeting time is changed to accommodate other activities or a special program. Watch the church calendar for the exact date. Young girls from grades 1-5 meet every Wednesday night (September through May) at 6 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall secondfloor under the leadership of Mrs. Deena & Mrs. Kathy. During June, July and August they meet at 6:30 p.m. They stay busy learning about Bible study and missions, who can do missions and doing mission projects. Young boys from grades 1-5 and pre-kindergarten meet every Wednesday night (September through May) at 6 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall second floor under the leadership of Mr. T and Mr. Richard. During June, July and August they meet at 6:30 p.m. They stay busy learning about Bible study and missions, who can do missions and doing mission projects. Young boys and girls in preschool and kindergarten meet every Wednesday night (September through May) at 6 p.m. in the Children's Department under the leadership of Mrs. Alice and Mrs. Jody. Mission Projects Local Missions South Strand Helping Hand We support the organization with regular donations of food, financial donations for client utilities and rent and volunteers to work in the office. South Strand Mobile Meals We support the organization with financial donations and volunteers to deliver meals one week every six weeks. Street Reach We support the organization with financial donations and cook, transport and serve the evening meal every fourth Sunday. On-going Projects Luke 19:10 Ministries We send items selected from the organization's "Needs List" quarterly.
